If you want a women's boutique big enough to lose an hour in, Twisted Sisters fills more than 6,000 square feet at 402 Centre Street in downtown Fernandina Beach. Kim Holwell opened it in 2004 with the idea of a lively, market-style shop, and it still calls itself the "Fun Shop" of Fernandina Beach. Her daughter Taylor joined the business after college, and the store's About page jokes that a shop cat named Sister Girl is the one really in charge.
Clothing is the core, and the online catalog shows how wide it goes:
- Tops, sweaters, jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses and matching sets
- Jackets, vests, loungewear, pajamas and robes
- Swimsuits and cover-ups
- Boots, sandals, sneakers, flats and slippers
- Jewelry, watches, belts and hats
Past the clothes there are sections for home decor, skin and beauty, pets and children's gifts, and the store's blog features candles and hostess gifts. If someone in your group would rather sit than shop, there's a husband waiting room.

Hudson & Perry is back down the street at 319 Centre for home goods and gifts, and Pearl, a women's resort boutique, is a block farther along at 503-B Centre.
