How key holding actually works
You hand off a key once, in person, and it goes into a secure, coded system tied to your property and nobody else's. From there, access happens only when you ask for it. A contractor needs in on Thursday, a delivery needs a signature, your daughter is flying in for the weekend: you tell us, we open the door, and we lock up behind. Every one of those visits is recorded, so there's never a question of who had access or when.

Letting people in, the right way
The reason most second-home owners need a keyholder is simple: the work doesn't stop when you leave. The HVAC tech, the plumber, the pest service, the furniture delivery, all of it needs someone to open a door, and often someone who knows the house. We meet the vendor, let them in, keep an eye on the work when it matters, and confirm the home is locked and the alarm is set before we go.

When the alarm goes off
An alarm that calls a homeowner six states away accomplishes very little. When you list us as your keyholder, your monitoring company calls us, and we go. We check the property, work out whether it's a real event or a tripped sensor, coordinate with police or a vendor if it's needed, and give you a clear picture instead of a missed call and a long worry. The same holds for a storm, a neighbor's concern, or a utility shutoff.
