The Northeast Florida Fair runs October 8-18, 2026 at the fairgrounds in Callahan, about 30 minutes west of Amelia Island — the region's classic small-town county fair.
What to expect
Thrill rides and midway games, candied apples and cotton candy, live music, and hundreds of livestock entrants from Nassau County 4-H and FFA students. It's the big fall outing for families across the county, and an easy day trip from the island.
