Dickens on Centre turns historic downtown Fernandina Beach into a Victorian Christmas market each December. The 2026 festival, its 12th year, runs Friday, December 11 through Sunday, December 13 along Centre Street.
2026 market hours
- Friday, December 11: 4 to 9 p.m.
- Saturday, December 12: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Sunday, December 13: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
What to expect
Costumed characters and Victorian-inspired entertainment fill two stages and the streets, alongside holiday shopping, food and drink, Tiny Tim's Kid Zone, holiday movies, and visits with St. Nick. On Saturday morning, the Nassau Humane Society's Parade of Paws steps off at 10 a.m. from Centre and 4th Streets, and the one-mile "Run Like the Dickens" fun run is held at Main Beach.
Good to know
The festival is free to attend. A few extras take reservations or tickets: St. Nick portraits, the Enchanted Village snow globes, Fezziwig's Courtyard, and Marley's Masquerade, a 21+ evening party at The Pavilion on North 2nd Street. Downtown parking is very limited, so use the complimentary parking and trolleys on 11th Street at Central Park.
