The kick-off parade is Thursday, April 29 at 6 p.m., rain or shine, running from the waterfront east to 8th Street along Centre Street. It celebrates the town's heritage as a birthplace of the modern shrimping industry.
2027 hours
- Friday, April 30: waterfront food booths 3 to 10 p.m., arts, crafts and vendors 5 p.m. to dusk, Kids Fun Zone 5 to 10 p.m., and the Pirate Invasion at 9 p.m.
- Saturday, May 1: festival 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., waterfront food booths until 8 p.m., Kids Fun Zone 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Sunday, May 2: festival and features 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Good to know
Admission is free, including the Riverfront entertainment, though some Kids Zone attractions need tickets and the official park-and-ride and park-and-walk lots charge for parking. Outside food, drinks, alcohol and coolers aren't allowed; beer and wine are sold inside the fenced Riverfront Stage area.
